September 2026 September brought one of Cape Cod’s best-kept secrets: Local Summer. With the crowds thinning and the pace slowing just a little, it’s the perfect time for those of us who live here to rediscover the beaches, events, and special places that make the Cape feel like home. Fall brings a little reset energy, too. Around the nest, that means everything from football Sundays and jogging to soup season, dance rehearsals, and one very emotionally demanding novel. Y

August on Cape Cod came in hot, crowded, and moving much too quickly. Around here, we found relief where we could - preferably in a freshly made waffle cone or beneath a swirl of soft serve.
