A Little Fall Reset 🍂

September 2026

September brought one of Cape Cod’s best-kept secrets: Local Summer.
With the crowds thinning and the pace slowing just a little, it’s the perfect time for those of us who live here to rediscover the beaches, events, and special places that make the Cape feel like home.
Fall brings a little reset energy, too. Around the nest, that means everything from football Sundays and jogging to soup season, dance rehearsals, and one very emotionally demanding novel. You can read the Crows’ fall resets below.
September certainly wasn’t quiet, though. We joined the community for the 39th Provincetown Swim for Life and Paddler Flotilla, an annual tradition centered on care, connection, and giving back.
We also celebrated Advocates for a Community College Education at its 2026 fundraiser, where ACCE premiered a new video we created with Marin Misoda of MySoda Productions. Hearing students and mentors tell their own stories was a powerful reminder that getting to college is one thing; having the support to succeed there is another.
On the creative side, we launched a social and email campaign for artist and decorative painter Kathryn Piscuskas – more on Kathryn and her beautiful work in this month’s client spotlight.
And because even Crows need to get out of the nest once in a while, our team headed to WE CAN and Cotuit Center for the Arts’ Women Rock! The Tent concert for a little fun of our own. Lauren captured some great moments from the evening, both onstage and off.
Local Summer may be quieter, but September reminded us there’s still plenty happening around the nest. We’re grateful to work with creative people and community organizations that give us so many good stories to tell.
Warmly,

Client Spotlight: Bringing Kathryn Piscuskas’ Art to a Wider Audience
We’re delighted to welcome Cape Cod-based artist and decorative painter Kathryn Piscuskas to the Two Crows flock.
Kathryn brings three decades of experience to a creative practice that spans decorative painting and fine art. Her work includes hand-painted cabinetry and furniture, custom wall finishes, Venetian plaster, painting, and mosaic – all connected by an extraordinary eye for color, texture, and transformation.
In her fine-art practice, Kathryn uses Venetian plaster in unexpected ways, layering and manipulating the material to create pieces that shift with the light, revealing subtle variations in depth, color, and shimmer.
We’re now helping Kathryn bring all of that beautiful work to a wider audience through social media –sharing the finished pieces, the process behind them, and the inspiration she finds in the natural world, the built environment, and the visual details we don’t always stop to notice. And the timing couldn’t be better: Kathryn’s upcoming exhibition gives us plenty to share. We’re looking forward to helping more people discover her work, both on the walls and in their feeds.

What's Your Fall Reset?
What are you getting back into, changing up or looking forward to this fall? It could be a routine, hobby, goal, ritual sacrifice, new obsession or something you are finally working on. Here is what the Crows had to say.
Margot: Football Sundays are an open house at my house! Go Pats! All are welcome. Bring snacks.
Emily: My fall reset is planning on getting back into jogging! Run, Forrest...
Lauren: I am bringing out my finest Le Creuset cauldron to celebrate soup season!
Tracy: Sequins and repetition. I am competing in the Los Angeles Dance Festival in November, so I am back to polishing routines, sharpening technique and getting ready to take the stage. Gulp.
Silvi: I've got Kristin Hannah's The Nightingale staring me down right now, so I guess I've decided my fall reset is emotional self-sacrifice? Damn.
FOUND OBJECT
Sometimes a reset isn’t about starting over. It’s about noticing what’s worth carrying forward.
Thanks for spending some time with us. See you next month.
